ZBrush Cometh!

While I won't actually be posting any new work this month, I do want to say that I have started to take the plunge and learn digital sculpting with ZBrush. At first, I was hesitant to learn a new software package considering the learning curve usually associated with such an endeavor, but with the set of training videos I am using, the process is quite easy. I have learned that ZBrush is not only a great tool for adding high resolution detail, it is also an excellent texture and paint program for your 3D creations.

So my plan now is, once I have finished my video training, I will import my Gun Wolf and BAT models into zBrush and export hopefully better textured/painted models. I am really excited about this and I think that ZBrush will be an integral part of my modeling workflow.

So, here's to you zBrush, I was doubtful of you at first but now I see that you will be a great ally in my quest to RULE THE WORLD or at least make some nice 3D art.

i don't know about you, but i personally would rather rule the world...

good luck with the zbrush training dave! i expect to see some kickass sculpts from you sometime next year. i know learning zbrush is not an easy task since the interface looks like something inside an alien spaceship, but i know you can tackle it with time and practice! take it easy and happy holidays! =D
